It’s a place where anglers can explore a variety of fishing techniques, from swinging to dead drifting nymphs or fishing a dry. This river rewards anglers for their dedication and hard work, making it a place to fish and fish.

 We will explore the river, look at access and boat launch areas, and discuss the best times to walk and wade in the Lower Sac. The tour will cover the river from the Posse Grounds in downtown Redding, California, to the Deschutes River Bridge below Anderson, California. This stretch of the river offers excellent access for fly fishers to explore and fish!

The fee is $195 per guest for the one-day tour - limited to 3 anglers: transportation, a riverside lunch, and beverages during the day. Handouts for the tour will include maps, access areas, flies, unique setups, recommended equipment, and other special features that pertain to the fishery. A complete list of all equipment needed is attached to the confirmation package. Guests must possess a valid California fishing license and Steelhead Card. Guests must bring their equipment and wading gear (equipment is available upon request).
