Midge Workshop
Northern California Waters - Manzanita Lake
We proudly offer workshops to help our guests hone their angling skills with hands-on and on-the-water training in a friendly atmosphere.
Our workshops are like a fly-fishing mini camp. Each student will enjoy personalized instruction to reinforce fundamental fly-fishing skills and expand their angling knowledge.
These workshops include instruction on rigging and presentation, as well as hands-on experience on the water.
Midge Workshop
Knowing the “ins and outs” of the insect's life cycle, when and where to fish for them, and how to rig the flies to mimic them correctly is a huge part of our success.
Many of our guests are amazed that they catch more fish while fishing with us than while fishing on their own.
This workshop will teach you all about midge fishing on a lake. We will break everything down for you in an easy-to-understand format with great illustrated rigging diagrams. If you always wanted to learn shallow-water and deep-water midging, this is the workshop you need to attend.
