Tim Fox's Poopah Olive Size 14
Tim Fox’s Poopah is a fly that demands to be in everyone’s fly box. These caddis imitations are spot on and are tied to Timmy’s specifications. I have personally fished these flies all over the west and they never fail. From Wyoming to Oregon to Montana, fish love them. We carry the top five poopah colors in different sizes, beaded and non-beaded and in colors Tan, Green, Olive, Cinnamon and October Caddis. All of Tim’s Poopah are tied with real Hungarian partridge, lemon wood duck flank and Tim’s own dyed vernille.
Tim’s Olive Poopah is tied to represent Brachycentrus Caddis. Brachycentrus are available to the fish from February to April with the height of the hatch in March. The beaded Poopah works best during high water flows. I fish these on a High Stick (Euro) or dead drift it underneath an indicator.
