Meyer’s Jigged Radiant Micro Leech Rust Size 14-16

$2.75

Landen Meyer created this micro leech some time ago. It has bounced around from region to region with great success. It’s only now getting tuned in here – and it has been proven that it is a reliable fish-catching pattern. With the color combinations and the built-in movement of the squirrel or mink, this fly comes alive in the water. I have been fishing this pattern on the Lower Sac with great success, and this last Fall on Lake Almanor, I fished it underneath a Deepwater Indicator. The big browns loved it.

Meyer’s Jigged Radiant Micro Leech in Rust is my favorite for Eagle Lake. Jay Fair loved fishing rust-colored flies. Well, he would have loved this fly. A combination of rust, metallic orange bead and brown Ostrich. I fish this underneath an indicator shallow or deep. I match the depth of the fly slightly above the fish shown on my fish finder.
