Anywhere in the valley you can have trout eating March Browns, you have to have the cripple, the dry and everything in between. You never know what portion of the life cycle the fish will be eating. We fish the dries on long 15-foot leaders to 4X-5X tippet material.
I like fishing this well tied and correctly proportioned fly in the tailouts right before the riffles or in long slicks in between the current and bank.
