Manzanita Lake Tour
This tour is all about learning how to fish this singular stillwater. Skills learned here at this lake can be transferred to other stillwaters.
Manzanita Lake is located just inside the North border of the Lassen Volcanic National Park. The water is home to wild rainbows and brown trout. The fish can be very picky at times. The more you understand this lake, the more fish you will release.
This is a full-day tour. We will show you the lake using our Fishcraft driftboat, all the transition zones in the lake, and how we fish them. We will go over equipment, rigging, and all safety factors involved with fishing on a lake. We will have a lakeshore lunch and then work on new skills while fishing for the rest of the tour.
The tour fee is $200 per guest for the one-day tour, limited to 3 anglers per instructor. Transportation and handouts for the tour will include maps, access areas, flies, unique setups, equipment recommended, and other special features that pertain to the fishery. A complete list of all equipment needed is attached to the confirmation package. Guests must possess a valid California fishing license and need to bring their own equipment and personal watercraft wading
