Lance’s Balanced Leech Rootbeer Size 6 & 10
Lance fishes many different balanced flies. This leech pattern has been proven over many years of fishing. Lance just placed it in the balanced leech format. The color combinations, hook sizes, and tungsten beads combine to make these flies work. We tie these flies with J.Fair fly-tying materials—only the best materials and hooks for our flies.
The Rootbeer leech is my favorite leech at Davis and Eagle Lake. I like this fly fished in mid-water column height close to drop-offs created from the old creek channels.
