Hartwick’s Skinny Spratley Size 6
This fly is a spin off from the famous Dick Prankard Spratley developed in 1949. Jason has spun his magical fly-tying skills to create a fly that plain catches fish. This pattern is one of my go to flies during the spring, especially on cloudy days on the Yuba River. I fish these on a long 9-12-foot fluorocarbon 3X tapered leader.
