Brett’s Klamath River Intruder Black/Blue Size 4
Brett’s Klamath River Intruder is a fly I found to be productive on the Feather River at first and then found it just as good on the Yuba swinging for both trout and steelhead. Brett Jensen created this fly for the Klamath River, but it fishes well everywhere. I swing this fly on a long 12-foot 3X Fluorocarbon tapered leader.
The Black and Blue Intruder was the first Brett’s fly I tried on the Feather on a dark stormy spring day. A couple of swings into the run a wonderful hen steelhead took the fly and after that grab it has been on with this fly.
